Where in the World is...Bethany Allee

 

Home:  50/50: Canyon Lake/Central Austin

 

What other locations have you called home? I travel a lot for work, so numerous Hilton properties throughout the United States and Canada. Most notably the Hilton Santa Clara, Hilton SFO and Hilton Times Square.

 

 

Occupation:  Americas Field Marketing for a high tech company. Though if you ask my Dad he says I throw parties. My Granny says I make websites. In reality, I do both. Plus some other stuff.

 

What occupies your days?  Volunteering with the PTA in an effort to gain preferential treatment for my kids in their school, working to pay the bills, and then from 9PM – 11PM most nights I’m binge-watching TV and drinking wine while multitasking.

 Currently Reading: I started writing two years ago and since then I’ve had trouble reading anything I’m not working on, with the exception of ‘The Economist’ and my Facebook feed.

 Hobbies:  Writing, board games, traveling, photography, being a good mom.

Philanthropy or special cause: I’m actively involved in the PTA. I was the President. I’m happy that is past-tense.

Favorite High School Memory: The total and complete lack of responsibility and plethora of free time, which I did not value enough at the time. And being a Skokie with Rob MacGregor, Rebecca Dark, Veronika Volz, Elizabeth Grosh and Sonia Escobedo. And the time Veronika and Rob wouldn’t leave my house, so I went to sleep and they stayed and watched ‘Baywatch.’

Favorite motto or saying: Never say ‘never.’
